Les fausses mémoires: de la fiction à la réalité. De la crainte à l'espoir

Abstract : Memory is essential for the adaptation and survival of the individual in his/her environment. We knew that memory is fragile and sometime failing, bur recently it has become more complex than we imagined. Thus our brain not only forgets but creates false memoires. This false memory syndrome can have catastrophic consequences in the field of justice but has opened new avenues in the treatment of certain mental disorders such as phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder.
