Abstract : The arterial spin labeling (ASL) technique can measure cerebral blood flow without a contrast medium, but suffering of a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The aim of this study was to optimize SNR, spatial resolution and acquisition time of a brain STAR (Signal Targeting and Alternating Radiofrequency) pulsed ASL sequence and to evaluate its reproducibility.
