Effects of HIV protease inhibitors on progression of monocrotaline- and hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension in rats.

Abstract : These results support an effect of HPIs on pulmonary vascular remodeling mediated by inhibition of Akt phosphorylation and consequently of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell proliferation.
