Differences in recourse to HIV testing according to migration origin in the Paris metropolitan area in 2010.

Résumé : In France, HIV prevention within Maghrebi or French of Maghrebi origin has been seldom studied. The purpose of this study is to compare the recourse to HIV test according to nationality and origin. Data were from the 2010 SIRS cohort, which included 3,006 households representative of the Paris metropolitan area. Results of the study show comparatively low HIV testing rate among Maghrebi and French of Maghrebi origin compared to French with French parents.
